DevOps Lead

Due to ongoing growth within BSI, we are looking for a DevOps Lead to join a very driven and growing team that manages and improves our SDLC process with CI/CD, promoting best practice combining our development and support practices.

This role would be ideal for an IT Developer looking to grow their career into a more senior and leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Collaborate, build and nurture relations with key stakeholders with our cross functional teams and key stakeholders including Security, Architects and IT Delivery to deliver the right solutions.
- Responsible for resource planning and demand liaising with delivery & operational teams, ensuring projects and operations are delivered on time.
- Create and maintain a set of key measures to ensure quality and stability of DevOps capability and performance.
- Define and deliver an ongoing roadmap of technical and functional evolution of DevOps platform to align to BSI business need. Communicate those improvements to users with quality release notes & communications.
- Contribute to the design, build and operational management of a highly scalable, secure and available PaaS/SaaS platform, ensuring it can operate 24×7. Provide out-of-hours or on-call services, as required
- In collaboration with the product team, work to eliminate repetitive tasks, reduce and remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the ecosystem.

Skills & Experience required:

- Being a effective key communicator and stakeholder management across all seniorities in a matrix global environment
- Experience in leading and influence a team of technical staff with excellent tasks prioritisation and delegation abilities
- Essential technical skills:

- CI/CD: pipelining, microservices, infrastructure as a code, monitoring/logging, containerisation & automation
- Azure Enterprise: Cloud, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
- MS ADO, Azure Boards and/or Jira, Confluence
- Desirable technical skills:

- ACAS vulnerability scanning
- Azure API
- Code Management: Azure Repos and/or Enterprise GitHub or Bitbucket
