- which makes everything possible.- We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team as a Buyer on a 2 year fixed term contract. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply for the EMEA market.- This position is part of the European Traded Goods and will be located in Portsmouth.- In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Determine efficient finished goods inventory level to achieve OTD (On Time Delivery) target across European for assigned market.
- Ensure accuracy of Supply Chain related system parameter.
- Manage intercompany freight activities to achieve financial targets.
- Recommend and implement inventory management strategies.
- Prepare planning related reports and recommend actions to drive improvement.
- The essential requirements of the job include:
- Solid experience in Supply Chain
- CIPS Foundation
- SAP experience
- Intermediate excel skills, Pivot table and VLOOKUP’s are widely used
- In depth knowledge of analytics tools
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Demand planning
- Demand entry to customer delivery
