Albion is a fast growing food wholesaler supplying fresh, frozen and ambient produce to some of the finest chefs across London and the South East. We have a customer base of over 2,000 and a product range of over 4,000, and these numbers are only going to continue growing

We’re heading for bigger and better things over the coming months, moving from three small warehouses in Tonbridge to a brand-new site three times the size of our current premises put together, with that comes better process and a nicer working environment meaning your working life will be much smoother

Work life balance is important to us here at Albion and we want you to spend more time at home with your family or doing the things you enjoy, so in addition to 30 days holiday you will also get an additional 22 days off a year worked into your rota, meaning you will work just 208 days in a year but still earn a full-time salary. Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it, but it’s not

For the period between now and when we are fully operational out of Dartford you will be required to work out of Tonbridge but to help make that work, depending on your location we are willing to help out with travel expenses.

**Hours**: 40 hours per week working 8AM-5PM, including some weekend availability

**The role and what we’re looking for**

We run a 24/7 operation and our warehouse operatives on the day shift are our replenishment team. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and your job will be to ensure the shelves in the warehouse are fully stocked, ready for the night team to pick the orders.

This role is essential to the smooth running of the business and ensures our customers get the right orders, as well as the best possible service Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Moving stock around, stacking shelves, and general warehouse duties - in both the ambient and chilled environments as required (full PPE provided)
- Unloading of delivery vehicles from external suppliers, and moving to the allocated bays in the warehouse
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work environment
- Ensuring accurate stock levels and conducting stock counts as required
- Rotating stock, in particular date sensitive products to ensure mínimal waste
- Compliance with company Health & Safety requirements

**Role Requirements**
- As this role is very demanding, experience in working in a warehouse (chilled and frozen environments is preferred)
- Good communication and listening skills
- Great team player who works hard, to ensure we hit targets and achieve results
- Planning and organizational skills, with good time-management
- Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
- Problem solver, with a desire to succeed and hit targets
