**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administrate our logging, observability and event management services employing best practices, governance and standards
- Collaborate with operational, technical and non-technical business teams globally
- Equate business challenges and requirements to technical deliveries. Agree timelines and execute at pace
- Utilise your passion to learn new technologies, enthusiasm about sharing knowledge and experience
- Troubleshoot technical issues to quickly isolate fault domain and determine root cause. Formulate solutions and/or workarounds across a wide range of environments
- You will** **champion forward thinking by bringing a unique point of view while inspiring impeccable quality from others
- Generate documentation content and participate in cross-functional business and technical teams to strengthen and evangelize our monitoring and analytics services
- Suggest, design, and implement improvements to currently deployed solutions
- Support global operations and business support/development teams to improve delivery through automation and innovation
- Reproduce customer issues and as necessary, file support cases with the supplier as well as internal technical teams.
- Take ownership by driving meaningful change and delivering results from passion and purpose

**Qualifications**:
**The following skills will guarantee interest**:

- Demonstrable experience administrating Splunk
- Any Splunk Admin certifications
- Familiar with key Cloud providers and services
- Quick grasp of new technology concepts and terminologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mindset
- An understanding of the following tools: Ansible and ServiceNow** **or other automation, orchestration, insight and intelligence tools
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Perl, Shell scripting (Linux), or JavaScript. Must be proficient at the Linux command line.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and a strong work ethic coupled with a curiosity for new trends and emerging technologies
- Innate ability to recognize and resolve potential service impacting issues

Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others
