What we expect from you:
Join our friendly, dynamic Buying team as a Junior Buyer Where you'll oversee the procurement and delivery of our Baby Fashion range. Collaborate with our in house Design, Garment Tech and Merchandising teams. Manage suppliers, drive critical path processes, and foster strong team relationships.

**You will be responsible for**:
Systems, Supply and Delivery:

- Oversee critical paths and delivery schedules to ensure on-time stock delivery while adhering to ethical and trading standards. Drive planning and accurate order placement to meet ex-factory dates.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating onboarding, understanding capabilities, and negotiating optimal outcomes to uphold integrity.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to manage critical dates, stay updated on supplier changes, and resolve delivery issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Technical teams to ensure smooth stock transition, resolve QC issues, and emergency source replacement products as needed.
- Utilize global awareness to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and mitigate issues before they arise, contributing to seamless operations.

Range Development, Planning, Trading & Market Performance
- Lead and manage sub-department, ensuring alignment with job priorities and effective communication among team members.
- Maintain accurate range plans and department spreadsheets, facilitating smooth operations across the business.
- Present confidently in review meetings, contributing to decision-making processes, including those involving senior management.
- Analyze sales and market trends to identify product performance patterns and drive range development strategies.
- Collaborate with merchandising team to optimize sales, spot trends, and implement sustainable strategies in product development.

Communications & Web, Social-Media
- Efficiently manage Photo and Wholesale samples to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Director/Senior Team to strategize web requirements.
- Provide support to Creative Assets department for photography planning, while proactively suggesting web and social media content to drive engagement and enhance sales.

Team Success:

- Efficiently manage the sub-department team to ensure productivity and success.
- Take ownership of department systems and processes, including training and skill development for the team.
- Provide day-to-day management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving support for the team, while offering guidance and performance management.
- Proactively support senior management, identify opportunities for improvement, and take initiative to enhance team productivity and processes.
