IT Technician

**The Opportunity**

Vital Energi are looking for an IT Technician to join our growing team. You will be working with a group of technical individuals and for the Infra Manager.

**The Role**

The role will involve:

- 1st and 2nd Line Troubleshooting
- Software / Hardware Installation
- Ensure Security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Advise users on best practices
- New User Setup’s / Leaver Processes
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers.
- Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Maintain records /logs of repairs and fixes
- To be flexible with out of hours work when required

**The Person**
- Skills and Experience:_
- 5 GCSE’s
- Certified IT Technician would be an advantage (Comptia A+, Network+, Security+)
- Basic Networking knowledge
- Security Knowledge - Mimecast, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid 7, BitLocker, Ivanti, Firewall’s.
- Telephony - Webex / Android / Apple
- Understand existing and emerging technologies
- Understand business processes
- Helpdesk Experience (1 Year)
