Indoor Sales Assistant

**About the Role**
- First and foremost, you will be part of a supportive, hardworking team.
- Liaise with the Indoor Manager and Supervisor.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the indoor sales area.
- Provide a friendly and efficient service to all our customers.
- Advise customers and answer their questions.
- Dealing with customer queries over the phone.
- Complete customer orders.
- Replenish and merchandise stock.
- Record, monitor and control all wastage.
- Ensure all Point of Sale is present and correct.
- Use linked sales in displays to maximise sales.
- Working on the Information Desk.
- Use the till, handle cash and card transactions using an EPOS till system.
- Receive, check off and price deliveries accordingly.
- Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Be vigilant at all times, observing for and reporting anything suspicious.

- Use equipment in a safe, effective and appropriate manner.

**Ideally you will**
- Have customer service knowledge/experience, with a passion for working with customers.
- Have retail experience and knowledge.
- Have EPOS till knowledge.
- Have interest and knowledge in Houseplants.
- Have interest and knowledge in Aquatics.
