We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to support particular children within our successful academies. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalised support to pupils, helping them overcome obstacles to learning and thrive both academically and personally.
We have the opportunity to be flexible with the details of this appointment as we are keen to recruit the right people for our academies.

**FULL TIME LEARNING MENTOR**
- Able to create a supportive, safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages engagement, confidence, independence and promotes positive behaviour and participation.
- A positive role model inspiring students to develop resilience and a love for learning in all pupils.
- Able to work as a team, support class teachers and manage students in a 1:1, small group or whole class setting. Able to establish excellent relationships with students, many of whom face barriers to their education.
- Excellent in communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to build

positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Patient and experienced in supporting the varied needs of our children.
- Able to understand how different pupils learn and the barriers some face to their learning.
- Successful in encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour and support them where necessary.
- Able to understand confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
