**Role responsibilities**
To ensure the safe and orderly conduct of students attending Harlech and Tywyn schools and Pwllheli college whilst travelling and using TFW services and stations during school term times. To assist Conductors on train services as required out of school term times. To assist TFW in operating trains in a safe and timely manner and to provide help and information to all customers on a part-time basis of 18 hours per week.
- Assist high schools with the issuing of pupil travel passes as required at the beginning of the September school term
- Maintain a high profile, be pro-active in preventing anti -social behaviour on TFW services
- Visit junior schools to perform safety talks to school leavers to promote safety when using TWF services to travel to high school
- Sell tickets on trains in accordance with regulations
- Manage the on-train customer service consistently by providing good information to the onboard staff, customers, station staff any other parties
- Maintain and develop a confident travel programme
- Maintain and develop a strong working partnership with specified local schools and colleges

**Essential requirements to be considered for this role**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet shift-working requirements
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly customer focused
- GCSE or equivalent. Must include grade of C or above in Mathematics and English
**Welsh Language Skills**
