- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacement
- Install, repair, or replace roofing materials such as tiles, slates, UPVC and EPDM
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions of each individual job
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety regulations and industry standards
- Clean and maintain work area, tools and vehicle
- To be a leading example to other people within the organisation within your senior position
- Complete jobs provided to you by the company to the highest standard in a reasonable time frame
- Set out an example of conduct when working on site
- Provide technical assistance to other team members within the organisation
- Engage with customers to explain any technical information, updates or answer any questions from the customer
- To turn up to work presentable in work uniform and necessary PPE
- Report any issues immediately to senior leadership within the company

- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques
- Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment used in roofing projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and at heights

- Full UK Driving License (no more than 3 points)
- NVQ Level 2 Slating and Tiling (or equivalent relevant qualifications)
- A good attitude towards working within a team

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
