Recruitment Index are currently seeking a talented Stock Trader to join our growing business located in High Barnet. Our client, TT, is a thriving Ticket Brokerage service operating in a unique market niche. The business model shares similarities with that of a financial trading firm.

**Key Details**:

- **Hours**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with potential for additional week and weekend overtime as needed)
- **Location**: EN5 5SU
- **Salary**: £21,000 - £31,000 per annum (depending on experience), complemented by a generous profit-based bonus scheme up to £10,000 per annum.
- **Holiday Entitlement**: 31 days inclusive of bank holidays

In this role, you will primarily engage in data analysis across various markets, strategically adapting pricing based on market conditions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough market research, help trading the market and managing the risk team. This position transcends the conventional role of a Risk Analyst, as you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's profitability and success. TT's annual revenue is currently under £5 million.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive market research using various tools and third-party sources to identify favourable events.
- Analyse risk associated with high-capital events and upcoming occurrences.
- Develop strategies for stock selling and pricing adjustments in alignment with market trends.
- Analyse data to ensure calculated and monitored risk assessment, incorporating new information as required.
- Manage stock movement across markets to optimize demand and profitability.
- Identify and address irregular patterns within stock, mitigating risks.
- Continuously adjust prices based on supply and demand dynamics to minimize risk exposure.
- Monitor market trends to validate strategy alignment.
- Create tactical plans to acquire new risk opportunities, demonstrating strong conviction in risk assessment.
- Utilise technical IT background to advise and acquire profitable risk.
- Track demand for upcoming events and release timings to capitalise on opportunities.
- Guide the risk team on event-specific strategies.
- Supervise external risk team, ensuring adherence to roles and responsibilities that contribute to the company's success.
- Provide assistance to the risk team, resolving challenges and assisting in recruitment efforts if required.
- Engage in trading learning sessions under the CEO's guidance.
- Interpret Power BI reports to inform strategic decisions.

**This Role is Ideal for You if You**:

- Possess experience in buying and selling, e.g., Forex, Stocks, Shares, or Cryptocurrency or have worked in a trading company.
- Have managed a team of up to 5 people, both internally and externally, while fulfilling your responsibilities.
- Are skilled in Excel and Power BI for generating reports and data analysis, facilitating strategic decision-making.
- Have prior experience of risk analysis, within a company generating less than £5 million in annual revenue.
- Participated in decisions to adjust prices based on risk assessments in a live marketplace, utilising technical and fundamental analysis.
- Utilised online resources to gather information supporting your risk assessment.
- Demonstrate excellent familiarity with music and sporting events in the UK and EU.
- Understand various music genres and have personal experience attending events and purchasing tickets.
- Are adept at rapidly interpreting data and making timely strategic choices for the company's benefit.
- Exhibit the flexibility to work outside standard hours to ensure comprehensive risk monitoring.
- Possess quick mental arithmetic skills to facilitate calculated decision-making.
