Our client, a very successful brand based in Manchester is looking to recruit a **Warehouse Manager** to be responsible for managing people, processes, and systems and control all the warehouse and logistics functions (Initially on a 6-month contract basis)

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

- Manage the Pick/Pack/Despatch function, from receipt of order right the way through until each order leaves the building.
- Manage receipt of all Goods in / GRNs and Goods out / Despatch & Manifests. Control of movement to and from for all 3rd parties.
- H&S - Monitor security and health and safety procedures to ensure the Health and Safety of the team in the workplace.
- Maintain the integrity of the warehouse layout, to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Train all staff in their expected duties
- Take part in management meetings
- Manage stock takes and stock take processes
- Ensure the security of all the stock and the Warehouse Building
- Plan future capacity requirements

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

- Strong Warehouse Management skills with relevant experience
- Health & Safety focused
- Supervisory and Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Possess a proven ability to work within a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate an ability to be a proactive, solutions-driven individual able to manage their own workload and time to get the job done.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- IT skills - Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word
- Enthusiasm & Energy

**Package**: £30,000 + Benefits

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week; 8 am - 4.15 pm Monday to Thurs & 8 am - 3 pm Friday (30 mins for lunch)
