**MAIN TASKS**:

- Management of rural estates primarily across the Midlands, providing high level management strategy, direct client contact, overseeing other management surveyors, dealing with external professionals and other advisors.
- Working with the Partners to expand this aspect of the business.
- Work with other Carter Jonas divisions and specialist teams, particularly with regard to Valuation, Agency, Natural Capital, Energy and Planning & Development opportunities.
- Leading client relationships and managing estates and landed portfolios.
- Support the Partner with line management responsibilities (depending upon prior experience)

**WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**

We are looking for a Chartered Surveyor who has a successful track record in professional and management work and experience in developing relationships with existing and potential clients. The chosen Surveyor will have detailed knowledge of landlord and tenant matters encompassing Agricultural Holdings, Farm Business Tenancy, Housing and Landlord & Tenant acts. You will be ambitious and keen to succeed in a successful firm, actively seeking out continuous self-development, broadening knowledge and experience.

Knowledge of property management software, CAAV Qualification and experience within Midlands would be an advantage but not essential.
