Well established, successful automotive manufacturer in Birmingham, West Midlands seeking a Group Financial Controller to join the organisation and play a key role in their next phase of growth. Clear route to CFO on offer.
**Client Details**
Page Executive are supporting this successful, acquisitive automotive manufacturing business, based in Birmingham, West Midlands, to recruit a high calibre Group Financial Controller.
The Group Financial Controller will lead and control the financial management across the Group. This will be done by providing expert reporting and analysis, delivering vigorous financial controls, efficient financial processes and informed decision-makingto support the leadership team.
**Description**
Key responsibilities:
- Delivery of monthly management and financial accounts for the Group.
- Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts.
- Presentation of monthly financial information to the Management team.
- Production of annual statutory account; acting as the lead contact with the Group's external auditors.
- Control monthly and annual close-down procedures, ensuring integrity of ledgers and control accounts.
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as the bank and insurers.
- Providing insight and a clear direction to improve the management accounts pack.
- Ad hoc reporting to business partners across the Group with the ability to refresh and develop reporting to ensure it remains insightful and fit for purpose.
- Liaising with non-financial departments to analyse non-operational KPIs and assess how they impact financial performance.
- Understanding and supporting the business on profitable business growth, highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Assisting with the integration of existing companies across the Group to ensure consistent controls, financial reporting methodology, consistent reporting time lines.
- Key involvement in projects such as the implementation of new systems across the Group, particularly ERP and accounting systems.
- Supporting the Board with potential acquisitions - assisting with financial and operational due diligence activities on potential targets
**Profile**
This is a key role within the group and likely successor to the CFO over time.
The expectation will be 3 days per week in the office, with ad-hoc travel to other UK sites.

£90,000 - £110,000 + benefits package
