Cardiac Physiologist

**About us**

W1 Healthcare is a private medical practice located in Kensington.

This is an exciting role for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our private clinic located in Kensington, to work alongside a leading group of Consultants.

Applicants should hold BSE accreditation and be independent in echocardiography and reporting.

You will promote excellent care within the clinic and maintain a patient centred approach to monitoring and treatment. You will provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information, which will contribute to upholding the highest quality of care.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hrs per week, Monday - Friday.

**Responsibilities and Clinical Duties**
- Performing complex transthoracic cardiac ultrasound scans and producing final written reports to a high standard
- Performing Exercise Stress Echocardiography and producing final written reports to a high standard
- Supervision of Exercise Stress Tests and production of a final, written factual report
- Fitting Blood Pressure monitors and ECG recorders
- Recognition of test findings requiring immediate medical attention
- Performs basic cardiac investigative procedures when necessary
- Maintain all equipment used to a clean and serviceable standard, reporting faults where necessary
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines
- Maintain records for key governmental clinical safety updates and action as necessary

**Qualifications**
- BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
- BSE accreditation
- Registration held with the RCCP/AHCS or HCPC
- Immediate Life Support
