Residential Childcare Worker

Cherry Blossom has an exciting opportunity for Relief Practitioners, motivated and experienced individuals to care for children and young people in our therapeutic residential home.

The individuals must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and demonstrate a good understanding of the impact that adverse childhood experiences can have, to ensure a high standard of nurturing, therapeutically driven support to promote the growth and development for our young people.

They must be flexible, experienced working with young people and promote an environment that is safe and nurturing. They will have previously worked with children. Ideally social care, health care, teaching backgrounds or similar would be an advantage but not essential.

Cherry Blossom will provide training, coaching and career prospects. As a growing company, opportunities for progression may arise.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stuartfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (required)

Shift availability:

- Overnight shift (required)
