Dovetail Group have a vacancy for a Carpenter/Fire Door Installer to work within the Specialist Projects team. We have a number of exciting upcoming projects along with a large fire door installation contract for an existing client, delivering fire door installation works in the West Midlands.

It is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm (flexible on start times) totalling to 40 hours per week. Out of hours call outs and overtime available.

**Essential**
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Experience in a similar role.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Carpentry works including working as part of a project team delivering 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Complete fire door installations compliantly and in line with the manufacturer’s approved installation guides
- Undertake remedial works to existing door sets
- Appropriate use of all tools, resources and materials adhering to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work is evidenced through the app used by our company
- Ensure quality and standard of work are high and compliance is at the forefront of all works
- Work to best practice and following health and safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Qualifications and knowledge
- Level 2 NVQ joinery minimum or equivalent qualification
- Be asbestos-aware
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must
- BM Trada accreditation is advantageous but not essential

More about the role
- Occasional out of town works with an out of town allowance.
- Full-time position - 40 hrs per week.
- Tablet/van/uniform/tools & equipment provided.
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, qualifications and skill set.
