**Department Overview**

**The UK CIB HR Department supports CIB staff and managers in London, providing them with a full range of strategic advisory and transactional services (in terms of payroll, reward, pension and benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations). In regular contact with the Group HR Department of BNP Paribas S.A. (headquartered in Paris), CIB HR is the entry point for all CIB employees on any HR issue. The team in London comprises of circa 70 HR professionals.**

**Job Purpose**

**The UK International Mobility team (UKIM) is responsible for managing the lifecycle of expatriate assignments into and out of BNP Paribas London branch, as well as overseeing short term assignments. The team liaises with various external providers and also other international mobility teams around the globe. UKIM also oversees immigration into the UK for all BNP Paribas contracted populations, whether joining on a permanent basis, visiting for a day or anything in between. The team works across all business lines and works closely with other HR teams, as well as being a point of reference for other UK entities.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Take part in the management of a population of internationally mobile assignees: running package calculations, overseeing the relocation processes, assignee briefings, document production and maintenance, processing payroll set up etc**:

- **Ensure BNP Paribas remains compliant with UK Immigration, legal and regulatory requirements including tax, immigration, social security, financial regulators and audit compliance.**:

- **Respond to queries (both expat and immigration related) from the business and HR community in a timely manner with sufficient detail and advice**:

- **Maintain documentation and support streamlining existing processes**:

- **Assist with IM projects when required**:

- **Ensure IM services/tasks are delivered in a timely manner**:

- **Manage relationship with vendors**
**The Requirements**

**Essential**
- **Demonstrable experience working within International Mobility (ideally within a global investment bank)**:

- **Solid understanding of tax and social security applicable to a mobile population**:

- **Team player with experience working in a diverse team but also able to work independently**:

- **Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively**:

- **Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control**:

- **Experience of using various internal databases and HR systems**:

- **Logical thinking and pro-activity**:
