We are looking for a Shunter in our depot to be part of a team that works together to provide excellent service. You will be a key part of the Tuffnells team and play a huge part in our growth and success. This role is about more than just providing great service, it is about putting our customers at the heart of what we do every day.

This role is working 30 hours per week, **Monday - Friday 14:30 - 20:30**

As a Shunter, you will undertake checks to make sure our vehicles are road-worthy, updating records so they are available for inspection. You will speak with warehouse and traffic support teams to make sure schedules are understood and move equipment in the yard so it is ready and available for collection and delivery commitments. You will also understand the traffic schedule to position equipment correctly and in good time for loading/unloading of freight.

**You will need to**
- Ideally have previous shunter training
- Be in possession of the appropriate driving license and preferably a driver CPC qualification suitable for the role
- Be flexible to work within a fast paced environment with good spatial awareness
- Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
- Be motivated and passionate
- Have a strong work ethic and desire to work as a team to help Tuffnells succeed
- Demonstrate excellent communication
- Ideally have experience working within Supply chain, logistics, FMCG, warehouse or distribution
