Sheet Metal Operator

This is a full time position working in the manufacturing team to produce stainless steel and aluminium products.
Duties may include:
- Use of various hand tools and sheet metal machinery in the fabrication and finishing of materials.
- Executing works orders to the required standards and on time ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Working of stainless-steel and Aluminium components 0.9mm to 3.00mm thickness.
- Quality Assurance by inspection of own work and others for manufactured and purchased finished products along with the associated paperwork.
- General warehouse tasks as and when required to suit demand.
- Planned regular housekeeping.
Skills and experience:
- Guillotine operations.
- PEM and fly press inserting.
- Spot welding.
- Finishing operations.
- Good level of numeracy.
- Able to read drawings and perform measurements.
- Basic computer skills.
- Workshop Health & Safety.
- Ability to respond to short lead times which requires a flexible approach

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
