We’re recruiting for a new member to join the Financial Advice Quality Assurance Team as a Quality Assurance Subject Matter Expert (SME). If you’ve a curious nature, meticulous attention to detail and have experience in a customer focused environment then this may be the role for you

What Will You Be Doing?

Quality assurance is about ensuring we meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements and protect the Society. The team are responsible for ensuring key processes are followed correctly within Financial Advice, relating to the onboarding process and complaints decisions.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the team in reviewing files submitted by Financial Advisers to ensure file completion standards are achieved and assessing the suitability of advice along with providing detailed feedback to Financial Advisers in the form of reports following up on any remedial action in conjunction with these.

You’ll be:
- Providing support to the QA manager in running team statistics alongside other framework reviews, including themes & trends, independent deep dives, file checking expectations, QA working group preparation and team sign offs- Contributing to and supporting the implementation of the Financial Advice Strategy- Investigating and providing training on any quality gaps- Championing a ‘Quality First’ culture- Providing recommendations following investigations into areas of concern- Ensuring processes have been followed and documented accordingly and involve feedback and guidance to our colleagues

In order to help maintain an appropriate level of knowledge, to aid in the above responsibilities, you will undertake further training where required and ensure to keep an up to date CPD record.

What Do We Need From You?

We are looking for someone with the ability to influence, engage and work with stakeholders at all levels, an empathetic and open minded individual with confidence in what great customer experience looks like and an understanding of fair outcomes.

You’ll need to:
- Have attained a level 4 qualification in Financial Planning- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Be able to plan and organise workloads to ensure a focus on priorities and to deliver to deadlines- Be able to identify potential negative trends and risks- Have experience in a Financial Advice environment- Strong in providing effective challenge to stakeholders at
