Head of Group Procurement

**Description**:

- As Head of Group Procurement you’ll handle a variety of projects and engage across the business with key stakeholders. You will oversee the businesses supply chain strategy and be responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products, specification, and services.**Location**:

- Ibstock, Leicestershire**Position**:

- Full time, Permanent**Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate with supply chain, material rates and fixed price periods.
- Report material price movement within the business.
Negotiate with supply chain, rebate agreements.
Forecast, monitor and claim, rebate payments.
Forecast and plan bulk material requirements (to mitigate specific supply chain issues).
Review supply chain and extend as necessary.
Contribute to specification & product review within the business.
Contribute to discussion, re multiple regions.
Communicate any supply chain amendments, issues, pricing, as necessary to the business.
Offer support to internal departments as required.
Provide analysis and trends on certain commodities.**Experience**:

- High level experience & knowledge of the construction industry supply chain- Capable of target setting and supervision of others- Capable of presenting to Senior Management- Capable of network and relationship building with the supply chain- Good communications skills essential- Organised and thorough approach- Good product knowledge and contact base.**Benefits**:
