**Accounts Senior Position - Derby**

Your expertise will be pivotal in driving efficiency and strategic financial management within the practice. We are searching for someone who is not only technically proficient but also has the interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

As an Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing financial statements for a portfolio of clients
- Overseeing junior staff and providing training when necessary
- Managing tax compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Liaising with clients to provide tailored accountancy advice
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

- ACA/ACCA qualification (or nearing completion)
- A solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
