**Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job)**

The aim of this role is to provide support within a team working onsite and in the community, giving a consistent, safe and appropriate level of care to people with autism, communication and learning difficulties, high levels of anxiety, sensory processing issues and those who may need positive behaviour support.
- Experience of supporting or caring for others either within a personal, work environment or voluntary is desirable but not essential as we provide full training.
- The ability to forge relationships and support people to have the best day, however they wish to spend it.
- Experience of working within a team as well as working independently desired.
- The ability to work flexibly across the organisation where necessary
- Empathy together with great communication skills.
- Willingness to support service users with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning and shopping
- Committed to the concept of supporting people - maximising employment, training, community and leisure opportunities
