Fireplace/ Stove Fitter

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer with knowledge in the fireplace industry to join our team. As a Gas Engineer - Fireplace Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing various types of fireplaces, including wood and multi-fuel stoves, as well as high-end media wall designs. In addition to fireplace installations, you will also be involved in basic building, roofing, and plastering tasks, so a well-rounded skill set is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install a wide range of fireplaces, including gas, wood, and multi-fuel stoves.
- Carry out high-quality installations of media wall designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of professionals, including apprentices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic building, roofing, and plastering skills.
- Work comfortably at heights when necessary.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Gas Safe registered engineer with relevant certifications.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the fireplace installation industry.
- Proficient in basic building, roofing, and plastering techniques.
- Comfortable working at heights and physically fit.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to invest in personal development and acquire additional qualifications, such as HETAS certification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18.00-£19.00 per hour
