Health & Safety Advisor

Due to site accessibility, a driving licence is required for this role.

**Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Responsible for the business's health and safety, making sure staff and external subcontractors are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol.
- Review and implement all HSE policies to achieve compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring all policies and procedures are fully documented and communicated to employees.
- Ensure all accidents are thoroughly investigated and all paperwork completed. Follow up investigations with any appropriate action, ensuring all actions are documented. Take RIDDOR actions where necessary.
- Provide advice and relevant support to Senior Management and Line Managers in relation to any changes (including recommended changes) in health and safety legislation, ensuring that any changes are incorporated into relevant policies and procedures.
- Obtain, review and file any contractor risk assessments, and method statements.
- Ensure Estates and Facilities' Compliance requirements are being controlled, documented, and maintained in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
- Carry out site inspections and audits and provide written reports. Thereafter, support managers where corrective actions are required.

**Health & Safety Advisor Experience and Qualifications required**:

- NEBOSH General (minimum)
- Experience within the Manufacturing (desirable)
- A hunger and passion to drive a positive Health & Safety culture
- Full UK Driving License
