**THE ROLE:As the** HR Administrator you will be working as part of the busy People and HR Team providing administrative support, along with HR tasks and other office management duties as required. You will provide EA supportfor the Head of People, including organising, and assisting with calendar bookings and meeting preparation.

This is a diverse and varied role which requires high levels of confidentiality, an ability to prioritise using your initiative, and a confidence to often work autonomously to resolve day-to-day issues.

**Key duties will include**:

- Supporting the Head of People with coordination, meeting organisation and administration duties
- Make travel arrangements as required
- Coordinating arrangements for meetings, conferences, and other events both internally and externally, assembling appropriate materials and booking hospitality as required
- Supporting the HR team with general administration, drafting letters and responding to incoming queries
- Updating the HR system with employee changes
- Monitoring the HR Mailbox and directing queries to the relevant HR Business Partner
- Reporting on and analysing employee related data, such as sickness absence and annual leave
- Assist with the planning of HR events and initiatives
- Assist with the administration of employee probation periods
- Providing employment references
- Work on ad hoc HR projects as required, such as well-being; reward; diversity and inclusion and benefits
- Business administration or equivalent qualification / relevant experience
- Excellent communication, verbal and written
- Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Must interact well with others in a sensitive and effective way
- Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information and use of discretion
- Must be flexible, successfully adapting to changing demands and conditions
- Work autonomously, across multiple tasks and reporting into different team members
- Exercise a high degree of personal organisation and self-management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with tight deadlines, and turn work around within a short time span
- Excellent attention to detail, thorough and accurate
- Operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy
- Ability to handle confidential people information with discretion
