Actuarial Trainee

The role involves using actuarial skills to price new or existing products for our client.

Our client works within the Financial Services industry and is very well established. They promote a hybrid working model from their office in Swindon.

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Actuarial Trainee involve:

- Analysing statistical data
- Communicating findings to clients, managers and stakeholders
- Use data to model and determine potential risks
- Studying towards Actuarial qualification

**Profile**

The successful Actuarial Trainee will have:

- A-Level (or equivalent) in Mathematics at Grade B or above
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English Language
- A professional attitude and a positive approach to your work
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, the ability to learn new technical skills and be comfortable with large amounts of data
- Willingness to work towards achieving FIA - Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries professional qualification
- If part-qualified, experience of working in the Life insurance industry
