Intelligent Alternatives’ renewable energy practice in Glasgow continues to grow and we are looking to add further to our talented and increasingly multi-disciplinary team.

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Planning team in Scotland.Our development planning experience includes large scale solar, green hydrogen and battery energy storage projects across the whole of the UK.

The role includes engaging with a range of development projects for some of the UK’s leading renewable energy investment funds, including:

- Advising clients on the feasibility of projects.
- Responding to development proposals and plans.
- Provide advice on the planning implications of EIA developments and reviewing EIA-Reports.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

- detailed understanding of development planning, ideally in both the public and private sectors;
- providing robust planning advice within a multi-disciplinary team.

**Salary**: to be discussed, dependent on experience and location.

We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements for this role, including part-time working (minimum 30 hours per week). The role is based at our Glasgow office, which is located close to the Glasgow Subway on the southside of the city.

**About you**:
You must hold a Town Planning degree or Masters qualification and ideally be a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

You should have experience of work relevant to the range of projects described above.

You should hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,186.00 per year
