**Senior Drainage Engineer**

**Location
- Nottingham**

My client is currently seeking a motivated senior Engineer to join the infrastructure team. My client's base is predominantly focus's largely on residential, industrial and commercial developments. They deliver projects from feasibility stage, though toplanning and detailed design. The team specialises in drainage, highways, and development infrastructure.

**Requirements for this role**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Bsc in Civil Engineering and UK based firm having experience with working for a local authority.
- A sound technical ability and understanding of documents including SSG,DMRB and ciria C753.
- Have experience in working for a consultancy on development schemes
- Have experience in Pre-Planning and planning stage projects as well as a good understanding of detailed design using Micro drainage and/or civils3D.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide day to day management and lead the design of multiple drainage and infrastructure schemes for the range of clients across the UK.
- Guide and support junior team members, delegate and check technical work.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality drawings and designs are delivered.
- Liaise with Clients and stakeholders.
- Preparing of fee proposals and taking responsibility of project budgets.
- The role will also involve some following design tasks, some of which you will delegate to the junior staff: - Detailed design and construction drawings
- Developing levels strategies
- Detailed drainage strategies
- Developing earthwork appraisals
- Planning documents such as flood risk assessments/Drainage assessments for residential projects and utilities.
