Applications are invited for the above post in the Corporate Communications department at Wymondham.
The successful applicant will be part of a close-knit, supportive Corporate Communications team. They will support the managers and their colleagues in the Corporate Communications teams across Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies, carrying out a range of secretarial and administrative duties to assist in promoting the work and messaging of both forces internally and externally. The person for this post will have to be organised, conscientious, a team player, flexible in approach and be able to work on their own initiative.

**It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria**:
- Proven ability to manage diaries/calendars and collate meeting papers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
- Basic keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Outlook
- Proven ability to communicate with the public and provide service recovery advice to dissatisfied customers
- Ability to accurately audit electronic databases and extract performance information as required
**It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria**:
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Ability to travel between Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies as required to carry out role at other staff location
Hours of work are 18.5 per week. Working 9am-5pm (Mon and Tue) and 9am-1pm (Wed). There may be a need to work outside of these hours on occasions. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Consideration will be given to whether the post can be delivered on either a part time or job share basis, in line with the organisational requirements of this role.
