**Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 0800-1700 (40 hours)**

Working with tenants and partners we look to bring new activities to site and drive forward areas such as Tech Bio/Digital Health, Industrial Biotech and Neuroscience.

Discovery Park Management Ltd (DPML) supplies facilities support to the park - buildings, grounds, roads, infrastructure and communication networks. We also supply utilities to all the buildings and valuable services such as front of house, cleaning, catering and conferencing.

**Main purpose of the role**:
To support the Utilities Team in a wide range of administrative and technical areas, including to ensure that the Utilities operations runs smoothly and in a cost effective manner.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**

Supporting the Maintenance Manager in the provision of planned and reactive maintenance across the full range of Utilities operations.

Coordinate distribution and closure of job tickets, ensuring that critical works are prioritised.

Maintain site statutory inspections and compliance registers, ensuring that compliance with the requirements of pressure, lifting and legionella legislation is maintained.

Act as a focal point for coordination of contractor visits, including making arrangements for inductions and booking in/scheduling.

Act as a focal point for the distribution of shut down / works notices, ensuring that works can be scheduled effectively and with a minimum of disruption to clients.

Provide technical admin including obtaining quotes and raising of PO’s, ensuring that orders are appropriate coded to the correct cost centre and records for work are kept in a way that allows easy retrieval.

Liaison with operations team to ensure that orders for consumables are raised in a timely and cost-effective way.

Support the Utilities Team to ensure that timesheets and other required records are completed in a timely manner.

Providing support to ensure that contract services are delivered on time and in full by the wider Utilities Team.

Support the Utilities team in the reporting of incidents/accidents, to ensure that follow up investigations and actions are completed in a timely manner.

Support the implementation of a routine EHS inspection programme within Utilities areas, ensuring that inspections are documented and any actions arising are tracked and closed out in a timely manner.

Ensuring that safety related documentation (such as inspection sheets, Permit to Work Forms etc) are available at all times, and re-ordered/reprinted as necessary.

Produce and distribute formal reports e.g. in relation to compliance to compliance tasks, such as those carried out in relation to the management of water quality / legionella.
