Manpower are recruiting a full-time Brokerage Administrator in Birmingham for our well established public sector client.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all NHS placement contracts are in situ and agreed within the pricing structure
- Communicate effectively with care providers to identify suitable CHC care packages and placements.
- Update systems to provide oversight of available care market capacity.
- Maintain accurate information systems to evidence the effectiveness of the service
- Develop good links with CHC operational teams, acute hospitals, and the three local authorities.
- Deliver against personal objectives, achieving quality outcomes, prioritising own workload
- Propose changes to own work, or that of the wider team, to achieve a more effective service.
- Ensure all funding is signed and in place prior to placement
- Liaise with senior staff to ensure complex cases are escalated in a timely manner so as to ensure that the service user receives care from the most appropriate Provider
- To support clinical brokerage function in the setting up of care packages, as required
- Deal with invoice queries in an efficient and timely manner, as required
- Support training and induction of new staff
- Provide support and advice to the clinical team
- Act as a point of contact for the brokerage department
- Contribute towards the team's overall performance and adherence to
operating procedures and highlight areas or issues for improvement
- Contribute to the CHC team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively and timely
**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Knowledge of IT packages including databases, reporting as required systems and equipment/physical demands of the job
- To have a knowledge of office systems and administrative procedures to maintain an efficient and effective service to the team
- Contribute to the setting up of systems and procedures in the office to promote efficiency within the team
