Gallagher are currently recruiting for a Property Placement Broker to join our London Market Broking team based from our London City office.

The role will be focusing on the placement of Commercial Property business both new & existing on behalf of our UK branch network.

You will be joining a close knit team of professional and will assist in building excellent relationships in the market with underwriters and carriers to successful place business with them.

**Your Role**:

- Support the broking strategy and placement of individual property accounts including new business and renewals by assisting senior members of the broking team
- Achieve proficiency in compliance protocols and prepare and check important documentation related to the placement and quotation of property programs.
- Support new business RFPs, both written content and verbal presentations by delivering market knowledge including proposed placement structures, pricing, and demonstrating market experience and relationships
- Work with Gallagher regional brokers based in retail offices across the UK region.

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience gained working in a commercial broking role placing business into the London Market.
- Ideally started/working towards a professional insurance qualification such as Cert/Dip/ACII
- Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic broking environment
- Fantastic attention to detail and diligence in preparing and reviewing documentation
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding and support of company strategy
- Able to problem solve and plan
- Eligible to work in the UK
