**A leading aerospace manufacturer are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Tester to join their thriving manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. The successful Assembly Tester will work in fitting/testing area, being involved in a range of tasks including measurement and use of measuring equipment, micrometres, Vernier callipers and Height Gauges.**

**Key Responsibilities - Assembly Fitter**
- Work in fitting/testing area, being involved in a range of tasks including measurement and use of measuring equipment, micrometres, Vernier callipers and Height Gauges
- Capable of reading and understanding drawings and work instructions.
- Operate within a busy assembly and test area maintaining high standards of build quality necessary to meet customer demand.
- Adapts lean principles in line with Moog principles.
- Quality - Adherence to all relevant quality standards and have a working knowledge of them
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- The ability to follow technical documentation including standard operating procedures, data cards, process specifications and reports.

**Qualifications & Requirements - Assembly Fitter**
- Apprentice trained or equivalent
- Previous experience of engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within aerospace or related industry
- Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacture
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Have a working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
