We are a small company specialising in the woodwork aspect of restoration and conservation of antique furniture. We work mainly for the London antiques trade. Established for 25 years, we have the privilege to work on extraordinary and varied 17th-20th century pieces. Collaborating with many other nationwide specialists in their fields in order to offer our clients the best outcomes.

**Responsibilities/ training opportunity to**:

- Restore and conserve antique furniture, and other valuable items
- Assess the condition of antiques and develop appropriate restoration plans
- Restore/ conserve antique pieces using traditional techniques and materials
- Preserve the historical integrity and value of antique furniture while ensuring their stability and functionality
- Be able to work on a one or two restoration projects simultaneously.
- Maintain records of restoration processes, materials used, and time taken.

Qualifications:
Experienced traditional cabinet maker / restorer applicants welcomed. But we are offering full training to the right applicant if required.
Enthusiasm for furniture history / restoration is essential, and the ability to fit into our day to day workshop environment.
- Knowledge of historical furniture styles, materials, and construction techniques would be a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address unique challenges in restoring antiques

Personal and employment references will be required.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
