**Job Purpose**

To ensure the smooth operating of the cutting table machinery and control the storage and optimisation of all raw materials within the company.

**Job Role**

As Raw Materials Controller, you will work within the Stores team, reporting to the Stores Manager. You will liaise with the Stores Manager regarding storage, stock count and valuation of raw material, ensure kits are cut and materials issued in a timely fashion and ensure all daily/weekly maintenance and calibration checks are carried out for the cutting table.

**Main Duties**
- Responsible for the Raw Materials storage and Cutting Table functions, troubleshooting any discrepancies and ensuring work is completed accordingly so schedule accomplishment is achieved within the production team.
- Ensuring storage records are kept up-to-date and reporting raw material shortages promptly to Stores Manager/Purchasing.
- Ensuring all information recorded for each job is accurate whilst maintaining output.
- Required to understand and comply with all procedures in place to fulfil their role.
- Identify stock control/movement issues and be proactive in rectifying these problems.
- Aid production staff in general day-to-day duties including cleaning, disposing of waste materials and refilling consumable stock items to ensure production levels are maintained.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment as per the schedule provided.
- Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy.
- Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives.

You may be required to complete other tasks, as required by the business.

**Pre-requisites for this role**
- Proficient IT Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- No specific qualifications are required to be successful within this role
- Forklift Reach Truck qualification desirable but not essential
- **Full UK Driving License is required for this role**

**Package**
- £11.60 - £13.95 per hour depending on experience
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
