Our client is an important company operating in the energy sector that has commissioned us to support them in an interesting development plan for the trading area.

For this reason, we are looking for an

**Energy Trader Short-Term**

**Posizione**:
**Job Position**:
You will join the Intraday Trading Desk in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, optimize, and execute trading strategies in EU countries on short-term energy markets.

You will help develop algorithmic trading strategies, making an active contribution to our quantum team. To succeed in this role, you must have a knack for numbers and logical reasoning, you must be able to tackle and solve problems quickly.

**To-do list**:

- Trade day-ahead and intraday energy markets across Europe;
- Actively participate in the development of algorithmic trading models and quantitative models;
- Development and execution of day-to-day and intraday strategies;
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the energy market;
- Provide open and honest feedback.

**Requisiti**:
**Required Experience**:

- A bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Finance or similar;
- At least 1 year of experience in an intraday energy trading role;
- Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA;

**Soft Skills**:

- Precision, timeliness and attention to detail;
- Strong interest in trading and result-oriented attitude;
- Able to work well under pressure;
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Excellent organizational and work planning skills
