Your Local Tutors was initially a small service operating out of the founder's residential home in Wimbledon. Eventually, our founder became exceptionally busy spending her weekends legging it around London to visit her favourite little ones. Since then, Your Local Tutors has taken the bull by the horns and expanded the service to be there when children and families need us the most. It is no longer run by the founder alone as we have a range of tutors and specialise in connecting them to the children who need us. Our work often involves supporting a student to catch up with the curriculum, prepping students for sitting an entry exam, assisting them to master a particular topic or mentoring to build up confidence

**We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors We are looking for a tutor in Wimbledon/South West London for one of the vacant roles that we have (the student has an SW20 postcode). The role entails tutoring year 9 maths and the tutor will be paid £20ph. Please do read the eligibility criteria below carefully to ensure that you meet the requirements for this role.**

ELIGIBILITY:

- Should have studied maths at A level or have a degree/secondary school teaching experience in maths (IDEALLY)
- Must be available for weekly face to face sessions on at least one of the following: Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday's or Thursday's after 5pm or Saturday afternoons/evenings (REQUIRED)
- Must be educated to degree level (IDEALLY)
- Immediate start (DESIRABLE)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 1 per week

**Salary**: £20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
