**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated Schools Healthy Lifestyle Advisor to join our team. As a Healthy Lifestyle Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting healthy lifestyle choices among students in the primary schools engaged in the PhunkyFoods programme across Newcastle and North Tyneside. Working as part of an established team across the North and supported by the head office team, the role will be home based with travel into schools in the locality.

**Duties**:

- Implement and facilitate delivery of the PhunkyFoods programme to educate students on the importance of healthy eating habits and physical activity
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive environment for healthy living
- Conduct assessments to identify the school community health needs and provide personalised recommendations and action plans
- Organise and deliver PhunkyFoods workshops, seminars, and events focused on key messages around healthy eating, physical activity and mental well-being
- Offer support to parents and carers as part of the programme to encourage healthy lifestyles across the school community.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles among youth

Full training will be given, but knowledge of working with schools or in health improvement and/or food preparation is beneficial. The role is very varied and will include masses of job satisfaction, where you will be able to offer practical help to schools such as delivering our workshops, food preparation sessions and our Ambassadors scheme.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
