UTC Senior Support Officer - Liverpool City Council

We are looking for a **Liverpool City Council **will be based at:
We require an experienced UTC traffic signal engineer for the role of Principal Engineer in a busy UTC control centre based in Liverpool City centre.

Liverpool Council manage and maintain over 400 sets of traffic signals using Yunex UTC UX system, 60 VMS/CPG systems via Stratos, traffic signals queries and HVM bollards.

UTC UX skills required include UTC plan changes, SCOOT validation and fault management on both the UTC system and InView fault management system.

The UTC control centre is open from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday so the Principal Engineer will be required to work the early or late shifts on a rota basis. Weekend work is only required when major events like Eurovision are taking place.

Additional Information:

- _InView/UTC UX - Pass traffic signal faults and manage the repairs/temp clears on FMS/interrogate controllers and UTC system for errors_
- _Bag and Switch Offs (BASO) management and invoicing_
- _Stratos - Strategy manager updates for LFC and EFC to ensure the signal timings change on match days_
- _UTC UX - Network monitoring and action UTC plan changes/SCOOT changes and hurry calls for incidents_
- _Manage bollard maintenance/strikes and bollard issues_
- _SCOOT - validate/fine tune SCOOT networks_
- _Complaints/iCase - liaise with complainants and resolve traffic signal issues letters of response_
- _Cover shifts and pass faults on InView, answer phone and resolve issues_
- _Green claims - Luke to work through these in the short term but it needs handing to someone_
