Midweight Designer

We’re seeking a talented mid-weight designer to join our award-winning, dynamic, and fast-paced creative agency. At S&Co, no two days are the same; one day you could be creating content, the next setting up photoshoots, developing campaigns, building brands, or designing websites. We work on both national and global projects, and we’re looking for someone eager to dive in straight away and contribute

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team on diverse projects
- Design based on brand guidelines as well as original concepts
- Engage and work on branding and digital projects
- Work on UI & UX and digital campaigns
- Design motion graphics
- Clearly communicate ideas to the team - be a team player
- Stay updated with industry trends to deliver high-quality work
- Attend branding and website workshops led by senior brand strategists
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for clients and colleagues

**Requirements**:

- BA in Marketing, Graphic Communication, Media or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of agency experience
- Team player who excels in collaborative environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking concepts, audience-focused design, research, strategy, and design aesthetics
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PremierePro, After Effects), Figma, Squarespace, and Shopify
- Enthusiastic and creative, willing to contribute across various projects
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Interest in branding, campaign, motion, and website projects

Work Arrangements:

- Full-time, permanent position with a 3-month probation period
- Core hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours a week) occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
- Work from our Cardiff Bay studio at least 3 days a week, with remote working for the remainder. This may vary from project to project.
