Reed Procurement and Supply Chain are pleased to be working within a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary ongoing **Procurement and Contracts Manager**.

**Full Time
- Hybrid working 3 days a week - Part Time**

**£15.60ph**

This is an interim role to support the Application and Product Manager to deliver the IT programme of work and IT road map in line with the companies transformation programme, ICT and Digital strategies through effective procurement of IT tools, technologiesand services. Ensuring that all contracts and SLA’s are aligned to the needs of the business and work within budgetary provisions.

**Procurement and Contracts Manager duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for monitoring of the IT support budgets
- Responsible for the day to day management of the IT support chain which includes compromising contracts, support agreements and licencing renewals
- Purchasing of equipment and software, billing, ordering and stock management processes
- Supporting the product and infrastructure managers to ensure all contracts and SLA’s are aligned to the business
- Engaging with the procurement team to work within and adhere to procurement rules and processes
- To work within frameworks and adhere to the code of conduct and procurement rules
- To contribute to the development of the IT strategies and policies put in place

**What you will need**:

- Knowledge and experience of working within public sector frameworks and how they can be utilised effectively
- High level of technical knowledge of IT tools, technologies and services
- Experience of working in a contract/procurement role in a similar role
- Detailed understanding of procurement processes and licencing legislation
- Experience of building relationships with suppliers/contractors and negotiating on outcomes/outputs
- Experience of managing complex contracts and liaising with 3rd party vendors
- CIPS diploma in purchasing and supply is desired but not essential
