We are looking for a Governance Officer to join our team. As part of the Governance Team, you will support the Executive Manager to the Vice Chancellor’s Office (VCO) in delivering an efficient and executive service to the Vice Chancellor, the VCO Senior Team, and the Board of Governors. You will also officer and support the delivery of senior University committees, boards, and project groups.

You should have an understanding of the principles of good governance, decision-making, and relevant frameworks, as you will be a key point of contact and source of advice and guidance for colleagues across the University and external representatives on University committees, particularly members of the Board of Governors, SLT and Committee Chairs, their direct reports and executive support.

**This is a redeployment opportunity for colleagues who have been placed at risk of redundancy only, which includes anyone on a fixed term contract which is due to end on or before 31 August 2024.
