Operations Supervisor

**Operations Supervisor - Solar PV Installations**

**Area - Chesham - Circa £28 to 32K Basic**

To support the growth of the company we are looking for a Operations Supervisor who has the experience of working in a busy logistics or operations department, has a back ground of supervising and scheduling a number of small teams of drivers / installers with some knowledge of stock control systems and warehouse management.

**The Role**
- Be responsible for the running of a busy installations department and coordinate all installations from order confirmation to completion through the CRM operating system.
- Oversee and supervise the planning of installation teams in preparation for daily work schedule.
- Supervise the loading of goods and materials onto vehicles in line with customer project jobs sheets for daily installations.
- Organise and compile installation job sheets, prepare all required materials and components for daily installations.
- Order all required components and materials for customer installations and raise necessary purchase orders.
- Manage the ordering of all materials and oversee warehouse stock control.
- Be responsible for goods in and out and allocation of equipment.
- Manage the day to day running of the warehouse and liaise with customer service and operations coordinator to prepare for weekly installations.

**The Person**
- Experience in operational supervision and scheduling
- Process driven with good attention to detail.
- Some knowledge of stock control and goods in systems
- A good positive attitude
- Self-starter
- Strong communicating skills

Previous experience of team supervision and scheduling in a busy operations department will be an big advantage. The role offers a basic salary, overtime, and ongoing personal development and training.
