Bank Youth Worker

Young People Count are currently seeking a Bank Youth Worker to join our team This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives.

This position is a 0-hour contract position, and you may be required to work at short notice, however we always aim to pre-arrange work commitments together. You will be supporting YPC with staff absences for sickness and holidays, so that YPC continues to operate smoothly. Most hours will involve evening work Tuesday to Friday from 4pm - 8pm.

If you have a strong desire to work with young people, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, then we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide cover for youth workers.
Supervise young people and volunteers during opening hours.
Engage with young people and create a positive and supportive environment.
Support the development of young people's skills and talents.
Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
A strong desire to work with young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with young people is desirable.
