The Project

As an experienced Ground Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the groundworks on a large the site in South Leeds.

**Requirements**:
For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;
- SMSTS (Beneficial but not essential
- 2 years' experience as Groundworks Supervisor
- Be able to write and keep daily diary/record sheets
- Site Supervisor experience
- Be able to supervise a team Confident in taking information from drawings
- A good knowledge of Groundworks

The Role

Duties
- Overall Groundworks Supervising.
- Setting out and coordinating the groundwork.
- Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements.
- Monitor and produce good quality of work.
- Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors.
- Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time.
