Ava Rose Marketing was set up in 2019 by owner Helen Wood. With over twenty years of marketing experience working for large brands, Helen’s aim was to bring big brand thinking to smaller businesses. Upon leaving her career after starting a family, Helen decided to help grow her and her partner’s construction company, turning it into one of the most successful domestic construction firms in London. It was this experience that led Helen to set up Ava Rose Marketing. Her vision is to bring no nonsense and affordable marketing advice and support to start-ups and small to medium sized businesses.

As well as marketing consultancy, Ava Rose Marketing is also a marketing agency for company owners who do not wish to run their marketing activity in house or who cannot afford a full-time marketing team. We cover all types of marketing support including running campaigns, websites, social media, copy writing, SEO as well as strategic support and advice.

2024 is an exciting year for Ava Rose Marketing as we continue to expand and offer our services as well as training workshops to more companies. We work in a variety of sectors including construction, hospitality, catering, health and wellness.

**Job description**
- Marketing Assistant
- Full time - Monday to Friday
- Location: Thame Oxfordshire

The role of the Marketing Assistant will be to provide support to the wider team at Ava Rose Marketing and our clients. As part of this role the applicant would be involved in the following:

- Blog writing
- Copy writing
- Support with social media, creation and scheduling
- General administration tasks
- Website updates
- Writing briefs
- Working within canva
- Some client interaction

**Who we are looking for**
- We are looking for someone ideally with a minimum of 1-2 year’s experience.
- Fun, engaging personality with the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well organised and good attention to detail.
- Articulate, with strong creative and writing skills.
- Confident in using Microsoft outlook, powerpoint and excel.
- Comfortable using social media platforms and scheduling systems
- Experience using Canva would be beneficial.

Pay: £18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
