You will be an individual with excellent communication skills when performing a range of diagnostic testing on all patient groups and in addition to providing an effective rehabilitation and on-going maintenance service. This is a full time post which covers both Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District Hospital.

The key responsibility of the role will be to perform diagnostic testing on all patient groups and provide an effective rehabilitation and on-going maintenance service.

You will undertakes repair clinics, determines and rectifies problems, complete necessary documentation to record action taken, consult with Senior Audiologist if necessary.

Furthermore you will perform audiometry and tympanometry evaluation, including Acoustic Reflex threshold measurements of both adults and children.

Performs hearing aid repair/ maintenance and advice for adults.

Perform Audiometry and Tympanometry evaluation, including Acoustic Reflex threshold measurements of both adults and children.

Selection, fitting and exchange of hearing aids/ ear moulds to adults.

Direct GP referral of Hearing aid patients.

Perform more advanced test procedures initially with the guidance of more senior staff.

To record and maintain accurate information on Audiology and Trust recognised systems.

Maintain RCCP registration.
