Medspace Solutions Ltd is a progressive business, which designs, manufactures and installs joinery, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings) for clinical environments, primarily hospitals. Our workshop manufactures cabinetry, solid surface worktops and reception desks as well as bespoke furniture items. We work to tight deadlines we need to achieve and are looking for a supervisor to work within our team.

Whilst reporting to the Production Manager, you will take the lead in coordinating daily tasks in the workshop whilst liaising with the assembly and dispatch department to ensure production targets are met. The role is based on the shop floor and you will be required to assist and instruct all personnel in your department so competence with hand and power tools as well as an understanding of the machining processes is key.

Role Requirements:
*Previous experience in a supervisor or team leader position is essential, preferably within furniture manufacturing or a joinery workshop.

*Ability to read and interpret drawings.

*Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high standards of work are maintained by all team members.

An advantage would be:
Factory and joinery experience
Forklift experience
Understanding of CAD drawings

**Job Type**: Perm

**Salary**:
Competitive, depending on experience.

Monday - Friday ( 8-4:30pm)
